The EllisDon Infrastructure Justice consortium has been awarded a CAD1.2 billion (US$941 million) fixed-price contract for the Thunder Bay Correctional Complex project by Infrastructure Ontario and the Ministry of the Solicitor General in Canada. EllisDon Capital Inc., EllisDon Facilities Services Inc., EllisDon Corporation, Zeidler Architecture Inc., and DLR Group Inc. are part of the EllisDon Infrastructure Justice consortium.

It has been a little over a decade since commercial mining began at the Canadian Malartic Mine in northwestern Quebec, Canada. With production of over 55,000 tonnes per day, the mine is not only the largest in Canada but one of the largest in the world. In 2020, however, the partnership behind the mine announced that it was going to begin construction of surface infrastructure and an underground exploration ramp, in a project known as the Odyssey project.

DP World Caucedo is a world-class logistics solutions company, located in Punta Caucedo, Dominican Republic, just 25 kilometers from the city of Santo Domingo, the country's commercial and political capital. The company covers every aspect of an integrated supply chain, from maritime and land terminals, warehouses and industrial parks. It was born with the objective of consolidating the Dominican Republic as a great competitor in international markets and a model of national and regional development.

The Talara Oil Refinery, located in a desert district a little over 1,000km from Lima,  is Peru’s second largest oil refinery. Since the refinery was first established, at the outset of the 20th century, it has played a central role in Peru’s domestic energy scene. It has an output of around 65,000 barrels per day (bpd), making it one of the largest in the Petroperú portfolio. In addition, it produces domestic LPG, motor gasoline, solvents, A-1 turbo, diesel, kerosene, industrial oils and even asphalt.

Guaripola Guachaca Dióscoro Rojas recently described “the Metro is the most democratic and republican place we have in Santiago” this statement best describes the metro as a socio-economic melting pot that offers beyond a means of transportations to this great city.
