In Panama, ERSIGROUP has been actively involved in the development of the Metro system since the commencement of its infrastructure construction. The company has contributed to Line 1 and Line 2 and is currently participating in the execution of Line 3, consolidating a continuous presence in one of the most significant urban transport projects in the region.
Through ERSIGROUP PANAMA, the group operates as a regional hub for major infrastructure projects in Central America. Line 3 of the Panama Metro—an elevated monorail system approximately 25 kilometres in length, connecting Albrook with Ciudad del Futuro in Panama Oeste—has been awarded to the HPH Joint Venture and represents a strategic milestone in the expansion of the metropolitan transport network. Within this project, ERSIGROUP plays a key role in the execution of deep foundations and major structural elements forming the load-bearing core of the new transport corridor.
ERSIGROUP is responsible for the development of detailed engineering, the manufacture, prefabrication and installation of reinforced concrete piles of up to 18 metres in length and 2.8 metres in diameter, reaching foundation depths in excess of 50 metres. In addition, the company supplies reinforcement for diaphragm walls (D-walls), tunnel lining segments and track beams, all of which are produced in ERSIGROUP’s own facilities and assembled on site under stringent quality control procedures, ensuring high dimensional accuracy and full material traceability.
