CAPE V - 5TH AFRICAN PETROLEUM CONGRESS AND EXHIBITION

The 5th African Petroleum Congress and Exhibition (CAPE V), which will take place in Libreville,
Republic of Gabon from 26-28 March 2013. The event will be organised by the African Petroleum
Producers Association (APPA), the Ministry of Petroleum, Energy & Hydraulic Resources, Republic of
Gabon and AME Trade Ltd, UK.

Holding triennially, CAPE is one of the key statutory meetings of the African Petroleum Producers
Association, whose member countries include Algeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Congo DRC, Cote D’Ivoire, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Libya, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan and Chad.

The previous edition – CAPE IV was hosted by DR Congo in March 2010 and attracted 75 Speakers,
700 participants, 59 exhibiting companies, 20 National Oil Companies, 16 sponsors/official partners
and 5,650 visitors to the exhibition, emanating from 43 different countires. CAPE V sponsors include:

The event will be preceded by the Forum of National Oil Companies, Council of Experts and the
30th APPA Session of Council of Ministers which are attended by APPA Member countries, as well
as CEOs and Directors of Africa’s National Oil Companies. This fact ensures without any doubt,
that CAPE V will feature the highest level and guaranteed quality audience of any oil and gas event
organised on the African continent.

CAPE V will feature three days of intensive activities including: Speeches, discussions, exhibitions
as well as a series of social functions to allow participants to network in a convivial atmosphere.
